Brad Marchand is out and it's worse than we thought
The worst news has just come out for Boston Bruins fans. The captain, and probably the most valuable player for the Bruins since the start of the 2024 playoffs, unfortunately has to bow out of tonight's crucial game.
Thus, without Marchand, the Bruins will have to face the Panthers at 6:30 PM tonight live from Boston, currently trailing 2-1 in this best-of-seven series.
Clearly, the injury suffered by Marchand is more serious than we thought, and more importantly, it is more serious than the Bruins had hoped.
Marchand, 36, has accumulated 929 points and 1051 penalty minutes in his NHL career, in 1029 regular season games.
