The Stanley Cup Final, between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers, has just taken an interesting turn thanks to Connor McDavid.

This final, which was rather bland and lifeless, is now extremely spectacular.

The tide seems to have turned, and despite trailing in the series, you really feel that the Edmonton Oilers have the wind in their sails, especially thanks to the incredible Connor McDavid.

And there are extremely encouraging signs for the Oilers fans, as the Panthers are showing worrying signs.

Their General Manager, Bill Zito, is starting to panic.

Their Head Coach, Paul Maurice, is finding it much less funny in press conferences, and it really showed in front of the journalists yesterday.

And above all, there's this.

The Florida Panthers players have completely given up, on Connor McDavid's latest goal

It went unnoticed, but forward Matthew Tkachuk made an absolutely incredible play at the end of the game, literally saving a goal.

The problem is that all his teammates completely gave up, as the following previously unseen video shows.

«Tkachuk makes a great save on the goal line and Ekman-Larsson... gives up on the play and lets McDavid score anyway.

With the Stanley Cup in the arena, not great man.»

It's sad to see, but you can clearly see all the Panthers players giving up (except Matthew Tkachuk), even though they clearly had time to try to tie the game.

It says a lot about their current state of mind, and they are clearly showing worrying signs.

It will be really fascinating to see how the rest of this Stanley Cup Final series unfolds.
