Major development in possible trade for Sean Monahan: Kent Hughes' price revealed
See what journalist Jacob Stoller, from the renowned "The Hockey News," has just reported.
"I'm told that the Montreal Canadiens are currently receiving calls about Sean Monahan. It is believed that MTL wants a mid-round pick for Monahan (3rd or 4th round)." To be continued in the next few minutes!
So Monahan could be traded, but unfortunately, it is highly unlikely that they will receive a valuable 1st round pick in exchange.
Honestly, at this price, we would keep him, but we'll see!
This could be a steal for a contending team to acquire Monahan for their playoff run, in exchange for a mere 3rd or 4th round pick.
