And all this seems to have left its mark.
It reminds us of the last moments of Pierre-Luc Dubois with the Columbus Blue Jackets, but nothing is going right for Zegras in Anaheim at the moment.
He's not producing as expected, and his role is diminishing rapidly.

It seems more and more realistic to imagine Zegras being traded eventually.
Renaud even adds that the Ducks disrespected Zegras during the last contract negotiations. Wow.
Let's remember that Zegras almost missed the entire training camp, and that has a direct impact on his difficult start to the season.
It mostly seems like the Ducks see Mason McTavish and Leo Carlsson as their future and their pillars, not Zegras.
