Waivers Alert: Major announcement in the NHL involving three players
We have some action on the NHL waivers this Saturday.
The Detroit Red Wings have just placed forward Austin Czarnik's name on waivers.
In his 11 games this season with the Wings, Czarnik has recorded only one point.
Over his NHL career, he has accumulated 51 points in 182 games.
Also note that the other two players put on waivers yesterday, Patrick Brown and Dakota Mermis, were not claimed and will therefore continue their journey in the American League.
Returning to Czarnik, he has notably been very productive in the AHL, he even had his chance on a first NHL line, but he has not established himself as a regular scorer.
