The Pierre-Luc Dubois case has been causing quite a stir lately. While some would love to see him don the Canadiens' jersey next season, others remain skeptical.

Back in mid-April, NHL alum Maxim Lapierre suggested on 98.5FM that he'd be willing to send Jordan Harris in a trade involving Dubois. He believes the Jets wouldn't be able to resist the young defenseman.

"For me, it would be more about sacrificing Harris simply because of the number of left-handed players we're going to have in the organization." - Maxim Lapierre

In a recent edition of the 32 Thoughts podcast, Elliotte Friedman seemed to confirm Lapierre's views, and even took it a step further. The insider asserts that the Jets would be open to accepting Harris, or a similar player, along with the Panthers' 1st round pick.

"Elliotte Friedman: Winnipeg is ready to trade Dubois to Montreal. Winnipeg wants a young PMD [puck moving defenseman] like Harris in a combo with the Panthers' pick."

Of course, this would be the foundation of the deal, given that the Panthers' choice could still change. But based on the information we have, would you do it?

Would you trade Harris and the Panthers' 1st round pick for Dubois? That's what the Jets are asking for!

This is a story to keep an eye on in the coming weeks...
