Eric Engels confirms teams were looking to acquire David Reinbacher
Journalist Eric Engels has just confirmed major information involving the young defenseman David Reinbacher and Nashville's trade offer.
It's a rumor that created a lot of buzz during the 2023 NHL draft, but according to reputable sources Pierre LeBrun and Eric Engels, Kent Hughes indeed received significant trade offers for his 5th overall pick a year ago.

The Flyers apparently had David Reinbacher BEFORE Matvei Michkov on their lists, which is an interesting element.
It will be really interesting to see what lies ahead for the young Habs defenseman.
Reinbacher, 19 years old, has scored two goals and three assists (5 points) in 11 games with the Laval Rocket this season, while maintaining a +6 differential. He made a really good first impression here, despite a very difficult season in Kloten.
