We had some action at the Bell Centre today. Here's a quick recap, as the Buffalo Sabres canceled their practice session and several members of the Montreal Canadiens met with the media.

These are the two most interesting developments so far.

First, as reported by Sportsnet journalist Eric Engels, the Buffalo Sabres, who will face Martin St-Louis' squad tomorrow night, canceled their practice session at the last second.

Let's just say you don't see that every day.

«The Buffalo Sabres came out of their team meeting and canceled practice at the Bell Centre.»

They did have a big team meeting this morning. It's worth noting that their team owner arrived in Montreal to shake things up.

«As noted here, Sabres owner Terry Pegula will meet with the team in Montreal today.»

Press Conferences from the Montreal Canadiens

Additionally, we had several press conferences from the Canadiens.

Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis answered questions from reporters, as did several players, including one Juraj Slafkovsky.

Juraj Slafkovsky: «I wish everything were like last year, but for some reason, it's not.. I feel like I'm doing everything the same way, but it's not going the way I want. I hope I figure it out soon.»

«That's what I'm trying to understand. I don't know. I wish it were like before. I wish everything were like last year. But for some reason, it's not. People have their own opinions or whatever else.»

Another big day at the Bell Centre! The action resumes tomorrow night against the Buffalo Sabres.
