Sad announcement involving Jesperi Kotkaniemi and the Canes had enough
In recent minutes, the Carolina Hurricanes have announced the worst possible news to Jesperi Kotkaniemi.
After losing his role in the top-9, after losing his role as a center on the fourth line, now he has outright lost his role in the lineup.
Ouch.
It really smells like the end for Kotkaniemi in Carolina. He will have to watch his team's game tonight against the Boston Bruins from the stands.
For nearly $5 million per season until 2030, that hurts a lot.
Let's just say the Hurricanes are no longer boasting about their move with KK.
It's outright sad at this stage, for a player who was so promising and whom many saw as a top-6 center.
