The Chicago Blackhawks and Patrick Kane have been a match made in heaven for nearly two decades.
Through ups, downs, and three Stanley Cups, Kane has been the face of the franchise.
That will likely end this week, as a Kane will almost certainly be traded before the deadline.
Blackhawks Fans Say Goodbye
One of the best modern dynasties of the 21st century, it's been a great generation to be a Hawks fan. With the lights fading out on this group, it is time for fans to say goodbye.
Kane was held out of practice today, which is pretty telling of where this is headed.
#Blackhawks lineup at practice:
Kurashev-Domi-Gust
T. Johnson-Guttman-Raddysh
Dickinson-Lafferty-Athanasiou
Katchouk-Seney-Blackwell
With this era of Blackhawks ending, it won't be the same for a while. Hopefully the team will find new stars in Frank Nazar, Kevin Korchinski, and whoever they draft in 2023. If they hit, maybe we'll see another dynasty one day.
