Breaking: the Hawks make a sad announcement regarding Corey Perry and they show him the exit door of the organization for an indefinite period
We have been following for a few days what is happening with Corey Perry, and it's really strange.
After being suddenly scratched from his team's lineup just before a game, he has not been seen since.
On Wednesday, Perry was in his position on the first line at the team's morning practice, and he was on the official lineups of the team.
And by the evening for the game, he had "disappeared" from the team's entourage.
Something seems to have happened with him, especially since General Manager Kyle Davidson just announced this:
Kyle Davidson has "no update" on Corey Perry. Says he'll be away from the team for "the foreseeable future."
Davidson does say it's the team's decision for Perry to be away from the team, not Perry's.
He also added that it is the Blackhawks' decision to keep Perry out, not the other way around.
A developing story.
Details to follow.
