Last Wednesday, something clearly happened with Corey Perry.
He was on the ice for their Wednesday morning practice, but between the 'morning skate' and the game, he suddenly left the Blackhawks' entourage.
He literally 'disappeared' and has not been seen since.
Recently, Perry's agent broke the silence to say this.
What's even more bizarre is that the general manager of Chicago had just declared that it was the Blackhawks who showed Perry the door, not the other way around.
In short, Corey Perry will therefore stay away from the Blackhawks 'for a while', said Kyle Davidson.
It seems to be the end for Perry in Chicago, despite a very solid start to the season on the ice.
Elliotte Friedman just gave some clarity in this case, with a segment on Sportsnet, and he specifically mentions the possibility of a trade, or even outright waiver for Perry. (conventional waiver or contract termination)
What a fiasco. To watch today! Don't be surprised if Perry's name is on waivers.
