Unexpected and bizarre announcement: the faith of Corey Perry has just been confirmed, and Montreal Canadiens fans are asking questions
Since the news broke yesterday, many of you have been asking us about Corey Perry's situation with the Chicago Blackhawks.
Despite a very good start to the season, and despite having accumulated 9 points in 16 games, Perry has been benched by the Hawks. He seemed to be in perfect health, however.
It has just been confirmed.
Perry was a "healthy scratch" yesterday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
It seems, then, that Perry is no longer in the plans of his team, and a trade could be on the table in this case, according to some Chicago journalists.
This raises many questions, considering that everything seemed to be going really well for him alongside Connor Bedard.
Even more peculiar, head coach Luke Richardson cited an "organizational decision" to justify Perry's removal from the lineup.
It's really bizarre, especially since Perry had participated in the power play the day before, at the last practice, and everything seemed perfectly normal.
