Catastrophic announcement involving Jonathan Drouin: the Avalanche have just officially sent him to the stands
We were discussing it yesterday, but unfortunately, Jonathan Drouin's tenure with the Colorado Avalanche is really not going as planned.
After moving from the 1st to the 2nd line, after being tried on the 3rd line, now Drouin is moving even lower in the team hierarchy.
He will clearly be set aside and sent to the stands tonight. Ouch.
We are far from the 70 points that some had predicted for him.
Drouin has not scored since the first period of the first game of the season (he has one point in 8 games) and he is still in search of his very first goal with his new team.
Drouin removed from the lineup.
As reported indeed by journalist Peter Baugh, Jonathan Drouin was spending extra time after his team's morning practice. (a clear sign of a player who is scratched from the lineup)
There's also Tomas Tatar.
More details to follow. Let's hope Jo can find his bearings.
