Samuel Girard has suddenly left the Colorado Avalanche
Defenseman Samuel Girard was scratched from his team's lineup before the most recent Colorado Avalanche game, with no apparent explanation, raising questions.
And now, in the last few minutes, head coach Jared Bednar has announced that Girard will not play tonight either.
Bednar added that Girard had to leave the team for personal reasons.
This explains that. Let's just hope that everything is going well for Samuel.
«Girard won't play tonight, according to Bednar on his show. He is currently away from the team for personal reasons.» - Evan Rawal
Girard, 25, has four points in 15 games this season, and he racked up 37 points in 76 games last season behind a certain Cale Makar.
More details to follow.
