The younger sister of Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Gaudreau just made a very touching post.
Katie Gaudreau, who was about to get married when this terrible tragedy occurred, just posted this:
This will never be a goodbye because I will never stop saying your names and honoring both of you. I will take great care of mom, dad, Kristen, Mer, Madeline, and your children.»

We've talked a lot about the wives of Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau, and that's absolutely, absolutely understandable, but I thought Katie also deserved to be mentioned for the nightmare she's living through.
She quickly went from «the most beautiful weekend of her life» to «the worst weekend of her life» when a reckless driver cruelly took her two brothers from her.
We just learned that Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew were returning from a rehearsal for their sister's wedding, which was supposed to take place the next day, where they had both been named groomsmen
They were returning from the rehearsal on bikes, around 8:15 PM.
Our hearts go out to her and to the entire Gaudreau family. Stay strong.
They are absolutely beautiful.
