Terrible announcement involving Corey Perry ahead of game 6
A sad announcement has just come out involving forward Corey Perry, in the middle of the playoffs and just hours before the game against the Vancouver Canucks.
According to the reputable Frank Seravalli, while his Edmonton Oilers are preparing to play the most important game of the last two years, unless there's a major turn of events, Perry will unfortunately be sent to the stands. Ouch.
He will thus be scratched from the lineup for the most important game of the year.
Knowing how much Perry loves these games, knowing that he lives for these moments, it must be terribly difficult for him to accept.
We would have liked to see him tonight, so it's really unfortunate. Personally, we believe it is a mistake and that it is a bad decision.

«We will see what happens this morning, but these would be the changes for the Oilers.
Stuart Skinner starts Game 6.
Adam Henrique replaces Corey Perry.
Not written in Sharpie, a few things to sort out this morning.» - Frank Seravalli Wow. Very big decisions, and bold decisions coming from the head coach of the Edmonton Oilers. (even in goal)
Perry, 39, who has played so many do-or-die games throughout his playing career, has scored 12 goals and 22 points this season, in 54 games.
Case to follow.
