In the last few hours, the new head coach of the Boston Bruins, Jim Montgomery, announced that another very important player of his team is injured and will have to miss the beginning of the season.

First of all, Brad Marchand and Charlie McAvoy, possibly their two best players, will miss the start of the 2022 season and will have to be out for a long time, maybe even several weeks.

Let's also remember that Matt Grzelcyk, another defenseman who plays big minutes for them, is injured for a long time.

As if all that wasn't enough, the head coach just announced another bad news.

Forward Taylor Hall has been injured and will be out for a while. He will be re-evaluated on a weekly basis, but don't expect to see him early in the season.

There is also their first round pick, Fabian Lysell, who just got injured.

The season is off to a bad start for the Boston Bruins. The depth players will definitely have to give more, if they don't want to fall too far behind in the NHL playoff race.

More details to follow!

Hall, 30, the first overall pick in the 2010 draft, had 61 points in 81 games last season with the Bruins.
