Absent since the beginning of the season, goaltender Carey Price has started training again in the last few weeks.

While many doubted that number 31 would make a return to action this season, Price took another step this Friday in his return to action process.

According to Patrick Friolet of RDS, he practiced this morning with Eric Raymond, the Habs' goaltending coach.

This is a major step in getting an elite goalie like Price back into shape. Despite being able to skate on his own, more training is a very encouraging sign for a goalie who has been injured for some time and it's not crazy to think that we could see Price back by the end of the season.

While most experts were skeptical that the CH goaltender would return to action this year, many, including Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports, believe that Price could return to action in April.

The latter has been absent since the team's appearance in the Stanley Cup Final in the summer of 2021. He has yet to play a game this season due to a knee injury and was also on the NHLPA roster last October.
