Dylan Cozens' name has been generating a lot of buzz in Montreal over the past few hours. Yesterday, the excellent insider Kevin Weekes reported that Kent Hughes is officially in the race to acquire him.

Now, the big question is: what could a trade between the Canadiens and Sabres for Dylan Cozens look like?

We've already seen one trade proposal thrown out there on BPM Sports:

Now, the excellent Marc-Olivier Beaudoin has also weighed in.

In fact, he proposed two different trade scenarios.

Newhook+Mailloux+MTL 2025 2nd. I can add a prospect or another pick.

Or Dach with a small additional piece.

Which of these two offers would you accept if the Sabres were willing to make a deal and you were in Kent Hughes' shoes?

Personally, I'd accept both, I think.

Dach is starting to show encouraging signs, but I still have concerns about his injury history, and Cozens seems much more consistent and established.

After all, he already has a 31-goal, 68-point season under his belt.

Cozens, 23 years old, is a 6-foot-3, 207-pound center. He was the 7th overall pick by the Buffalo Sabres in 2019 (1st round) and over the past three seasons, he has recorded 68 points in 81 games, including 31 goals, 47 points in 79 games, and 26 points in 53 games.

He is signed at $7.1 million per year until 2030.
