The Anaheim Ducks have announced that they have placed their general manager Bob Murray on forced administrative leave. The whole thing would be related to an investigation involving the Ducks' boss, in which he would be accused of professional misconduct.

The California organization made the announcement through its Twitter account:

See the message delivered publicly by the franchise:

"We recently became aware of accusations of professional misconduct against Bob Murray. After an internal review, we have asked Shephard Mullin to conduct an independent investigation. Based on their initial findings, we decided to place Bob on administrative leave pending the final results. In the meantime, VP Hockey Operations and Assistant General Manager Jeff Solomon will assume the role of Interim General Manager. We will not comment further until the investigation is complete."

There is a lot of movement in the NHL since the Kyle Beach incident involving the Chicago Blackhawks. Heads are starting to roll everywhere. It's getting big, really big.
