Arber Xhekaj has just released a special official statement
In recent months, young defenseman for the Montreal Canadiens, Arber Xhekaj, has forged an incredible partnership with The Angel Project to raise funds for patients with complex illnesses.
Teaming up with his younger brother and his new teammate with the Canadiens, Florian Xhekaj, they took the opportunity to spend time with young fans during the fundraising drive. It was truly beautiful to see.
Following this, Arber released a statement to thank the donors and provide a brief summary of the entire initiative.
This summer, my family and I teamed up with The Angel Project to support complex care patients across Canada. A big thank you to Theendzonehamilton for hosting both Florian Xhekaj and me for a major fundraiser.
An even bigger thank you to the city of Hamilton for coming out and showing its support!
All donations were greatly appreciated. If you couldn't make it and still want to donate or just learn more, visit theangelproject.ca on Instagram or check out the website at www.theangelproject.ca.
Join Florian and me in helping to give a voice to those who are forgotten!
