We just had a second transaction in less than two minutes:

The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired defenseman Conor Timmins from the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for forward Curtis Douglas.

Timmins, 24, the 32nd overall pick in 2017, is a promising right-handed defenseman. He has three points in six games this season in the AHL. (7 career points in the NHL)

Douglas, 22, is a 6-foot-9 (!!!) center drafted 106th overall in 2018. He has played 13 games in the AHL this season (34 points last season and one this year)

It really seems to be getting busy on the National Hockey League trade market, and that promises to be the case going forward.

"Another trade! Conor Timmins is heading to the Toronto Maple Leafs, they have a lot of injuries on the blue line!" - Marc Olivier Beaudoin
