What about the file named Brady Tkachuk? As a reminder, Tkachuk, like Jesperi Kotkaniemi before accepting an offer sheet from the Carolina Hurricanes, is on the list of restricted free agents. As training camp opens, Tkachuk has yet to sign a four-copy contract and may not report for the NHL's opening day.

The clan of the main interested is actually starting to boil and the frustration is growing, here is a harvest of information from Shawn Simpson on this subject:

"My source tells me that frustration is building in the Tkachuk camp. Brady is trying to stay positive, but he doesn't understand why it's taking so long. I asked what was offered from the team and was told they did not receive a legitimate offer from the Ottawa Senators."

Do I need to remind you that Tkachuk is the most important cog on this team, he is the face of this team, and he is one of two candidates for the role of team captain? Tkachuk is a unique prototype. He scores goals, he's disruptive, he's VERY physical, he's got a big mouth, he drops the mitts and he's still a natural leader. Honestly, he's worth his weight in gold.

Since entering the National Hockey League, he has scored 22, 21 and 17 goals respectively (in 56 games), but he has also distributed 174, 303 and 248 (in only 56 games) body checks. Who doesn't want a Brady Tkachuk on their team? In short, the grater in Eugene Melnyk will have to get his butt in gear so as not to destroy a relationship that is already floundering...

Anyway, Tkachuk saw his teammate and friend, Drake Batherson, sign a six-year pact that will pay him $4.975 million annually. A great signing for the organization. Now it's Tkachuk's turn, Mr. Dorion!
