Brendan Gallagher sends a message to the Montreal Canadiens
The Habs players were back at practice today and of course we were treated (as usual) to the traditional post-practice media availability.
Among those who took the podium was forward Brendan Gallagher, who took the opportunity to send a clear message to his teammates: they need to help Carey more, and of course, he's part of that:
« Carey is Carey, but it wouldn't hurt to get a goal edge for him and give him a chance. - Brendan Gallagher
Asked again about Price, he adds:
« He's been so good here for so long and he's been through a lot this year. The fans showed him their support and you could see how much it meant to him. It was really special as a teammate to be able to experience that moment." - Brendan Gallagher
Speaking of messages sent to the organization, Gallagher admitted he wants to be part of the solution himself.
Despite the difficult season and the doubts of many, Brendan Gallagher is clear about his future:
« I know I can still contribute, I know I can do more offensively. It's been frustrating lately, but I haven't lost my confidence for the future. I want to be part of the solution and I want to stay. »
The message is clear and he should definitely not be counted out.
