According to what reputable Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports, Montreal Canadiens co-owner Michael Andlauer is among the potential buyers of the Ottawa Senators,
Andlauer owns 20% of the Habs, in addition to owning the OHL's Hamilton Bulldogs.
Oshawa Generals owner Rocco Tullio is also on the list of potential buyers, as according to Garrioch, he tried to buy the Senators before Melnyk's death, as did Michael and Jeffrey Kimel of Harlo Capital in Toronto.
Also, Andre Desmarais of Power Corp is said to have interest, having previously been linked to another group that bid on LeBreton Flats in 2016.
Finally, actor Ryan Reynolds remains a contender.
