While Habs fans are waiting for a possible trade to acquire Pierre-Luc Dubois, the issue of Carey Price's future continues to be the talk of the town.
The team's No. 1 goalie should, in principle, be at his post for the start of next season, but as reported by my colleagues at Fanadiens.com, as well as Felix Forget of Danslescoulisses.com, Price may very well have a tough choice to make regarding his future with the CH. He is really considering making a very big decision regarding his future in Montreal.
Speaking on TSN 690, former Habs goaltending coach Stephane Waite said he expects Price to be ready for the team's training camp opening in September.
However, he also told host Shaun Starr that the Canadiens' goalie is currently facing a major dilemma in the final years of his career, as he is reportedly torn between his love for the Canadiens and his dream of one day winning the Stanley Cup.
Let's just say that his chances of winning the Cup with the Habs won't be very good in the next few years and Price's career is coming to an end, he will be 35 years old next August.
As the team is rebuilding, it could very well be that Kent Hughes will grant his number one goalie's wish and he could one day win a Stanley Cup.
To be continued.
