Here it is, and try to find the error:
You can stop looking. No, Nick Suzuki is not here, unlike players like Phillip Danault, Joel Eriksson Ek, Carter Verhaeghe and Roope Hintz.
Cole Caufield is not here either.
You can guess that this is causing a huge stir among Montreal Canadiens fans, and the article quickly created some controversy (or a big debate) on social networks.
According to the rankings, Caufield, who is headed for a 50-goal season at the age of 22, is not one of the top 100 players in the NHL.
It's hard to fathom, but we imagine he'll get there eventually. If you ask us, he's already much better than players like Carter Verhaeghe and Pavel Buchnevich, but hey.
For Caufield, we'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
On the other hand, what did Nick Suzuki do to deserve to be ignored from this list?
He's already one of the best young all-around centers in the NHL, he's on his way to a 70-point season, he's got 24 points in his first 21 games of the season, he's got a lot of responsibility (and he's handling it brilliantly), he's playing against the best of the opposition on a nightly basis, he's one of the most used forwards in the NHL, etc.
And now he's being ignored in favor of players like Verhaeghe? According to this list, Suzuki is not even in the category of "first-team player".
You'll have to explain that one to us.
So yes, it's causing a lot of reactions, and the comments are numerous. Some even went so far as to say that Suzuki deserves more respect.
100 players is alot. That's an average of more than three players per team, and the CH is not represented. How about you, do you agree?
For details, explanations and rankings:
We criticize everything with respect and we are aware that real experts made this ranking, but humbly, we believe that Suzuki really deserves to be there.
