Brendan Gallagher has not been spared from injuries in recent years. For once, the small forward had a full summer to prepare and it showed right from the start of training camp, as we saw the Gally of old again.
Unfortunately for him, another injury caused him to miss several games. The number 11 returned to the game against the Panthers on Thursday night and played his second game against the Capitals.
Once again, Gally had to return to the locker room, visibly injured his left leg following a contact with Lars Eller.
Gallagher smashed his stick on the boards before leaving for the dressing room, which is a very bad sign. To be continued...
