After Saturday night's game against the Vegas Golden Knights, the Habs will have three days of preparation before facing the Los Angeles Kings for the second time in ten days on Tuesday.
The Habs will also get a huge boost starting Monday when star goaltender Carey Price makes his return to the lineup. As Dominique Ducharme indicated on Friday, Price will meet with therapists to establish a plan for the future.
A return to the game would not be for immediately, if we believe the words of the host Jean-Charles Lajoie. Indeed, Lajoie reminds us that number 31 was also plagued by physical problems before entering the NHL's player assistance program, so he won't necessarily be ready to return to the game in the near future.
"I sincerely hope no one thinks Price will be in front of the net next Tuesday night!"
"When Carey left to join the National Hockey League's player assistance program, he still had swelling in his knee after practice. Will it be investigated further? Does he come back to find that the knee is not okay and he's finally going to sit out because of a knee injury?" he questioned.
In short, considering the lack of details we have on Carey Price's health, it is very difficult to predict when the former Hart and Vezina Trophy winner will return to the lineup. However, it is clear that his presence alone could give Dominique Ducharme's team a much needed boost.
