Dramatic turn of events coming for Shane Wright? A huge surprise is currently materializing in Windsor
We are really looking forward to the NHL playoffs to officially get underway, but in the meantime, the playoff season has already begun in various junior hockey leagues across the country. (WHL, OHL and QMJHL)
Interesting fact. The biggest surprise in the playoffs so far is happening in Ontario, unfortunately involving a team with a certain Shane Wright.
Despite completely emptying their prospect pool and draft picks to acquire Wright, the Windsor Spitfires are in danger of being swept! Not just eliminated, but swept!
This would be a plot twist that no one could have predicted and a huge disappointment for them.
A certain Filip Mesar, Montreal Canadiens' first-round pick, plays for Kitchener.
This will be a story to follow in the next few hours, but things are looking really bad for Wright and his team, facing a supposedly much less dominant opponent.
It must be said that Wright's production has dropped in the playoffs, which doesn't help Windsor's cause.
