The Montreal Canadiens gave an update on the health status of their star goalie Carey Price. The latter underwent surgery on a knee today and is expected to miss 10 to 12 weeks of activities. The Canadiens also confirmed that number 31 will be back at his position for the beginning of the next campaign.
This is great news for the Montreal Canadiens organization who will be able to count on their mainstay for the beginning of the 2021-2022 season. Let's just say that many rumors had been circulating that Price could miss several weeks of regular season activities. However, the news has just been denied.
We may not be able to expect a Carey Price at the top of his game, because he will probably not be able to train as usual because of his injury. The Habs will have the luxury of having a fresh Jake Allen if Price is not ready to steer the ship.
