The Montreal Canadiens are finally back home, after a long and very painful trip abroad of more than two weeks.
We just learned an important development in the last few minutes, as forward Sean Monahan put on his skates before his teammates' practice this morning, as well as defenseman Michael Matheson.
This is great news and a good step forward for a return to action in the coming days.
The 28 year old center also looked quite comfortable on the ice, as we can see in a video shared by Eric Engels.
Obviously, in the perspective of eventually concluding a trade for the latter, his return to the game will be highly beneficial for the Habs, but also to solidify the team's center line in the short term, which is currently struggling to see.
