This was notably the case for Logan Mailloux.
We saw a very smiling Logan and really excited to be present at the CH camp.
It was beautiful to see, and it was even more refreshing to see that, for the very first time since he has been in Montreal, Mailloux was hardly questioned about his past by the journalists.
He delivered a press conference of nearly 8 minutes, and for the first four minutes, he only answered "normal" questions about hockey and his goals as a hockey player.
And he was visibly very happy to answer these questions.
We wondered if this would last for the entirety of the press conference, but no. Mailloux was eventually questioned by a journalist about his situation.
We then saw the young man become less comfortable and we saw him politely say that he would prefer not to comment. (this was related to his meeting with the NHL)
But it was just one question.
However, afterwards, the journalists returned to 100% hockey questions for the young Mailloux. We love it.
An 8-minute press conference from Logan Mailloux, with only one question regarding his "saga", is still a giant step in the right direction.
Let's emphasize how beautiful it was to see Mailloux with a big smile and so happy to answer questions about hockey.
Let's also mention a very interesting statement from Mailloux.
A perfect answer!
