Investigation into Carey Price and secrets: TVA never revealed a major scoop for fear of lawsuits
Appearing on the very interesting podcast Solemn, the excellent Élizabeth Rancourt gave us a huge lesson in transparency.
Honestly, this is an episode you absolutely must listen to. Élizabeth had a lot to say about Carey Price in particular:
And she didn't stop there.
Regarding Carey Price, Élizabeth made some major revelations about the mysterious break the goalie took during the 2016 season.
"It was hiding something very big to such an extent that the big boss of TVA, and not just of TVA Sports, commissioned the investigative journalism team of the J.E. show to shed light on the situation. The story was too big and there were too many secrets." - JB Gagné, DansLesCoulisses
And they found what they were looking for!
"We had all the information on why he had taken a step back. It wasn't just physical! There was something else!" -Élizabeth Rancourt
Something else very serious from what we understand, but it was never released publicly.
Why?
TVA did not reveal this information simply because they were convinced they would have been sued if they did.
One imagines that if it had been linked to his alcohol problems, the report would have come out today now that it's public.
So it must be worse than that, but let's not get too much into speculation.
