Last-minute trade alert for Corey Perry
Corey Perry has just been traded to the Chicago Blackhawks
The Tampa Bay Lightning and General Manager Kyle Davidson have indeed just completed a transaction, and just as he did with Cole Caufield in Montreal, Perry will now be called upon to be a mentor for the young Connor Bedard.
A very solid "move" for Chicago, and it didn't cost much.
Corey had 25 points in 81 games with the Lightning this past season and will add a level of peskiness to the Blackhawks roster alongside Bedard.
He added 5 points in 6 matches during the most recent NHL playoff series.
