It has just been confirmed for Allen, and we have the details on the interesting return for the veteran in the goal
After skipping his turn a few times, Jake Allen must be thinking "finally!"
He will officially be back in goal for the Canadiens tomorrow night against the Ottawa Senators, live from the Bell Centre.
He is expected to face Joonas Korpisalo.
"Head coach Martin St-Louis confirms that Jake Allen will start against Ottawa on Tuesday." - Montreal Canadiens
This will be Jake Allen's first start since his brilliant outing against the Colorado Avalanche.
It will also be his second start since January 5th. Do you like this decision? Do you think it will help the Habs break out of this bad streak?
Allen, 33 years old, has a record of 5-8-2 this season, a goals-against average of 3.48 and a respectable save percentage of 0.901. He earns 3.85 million dollars per season.
As his name continues to come up in trade rumors, a strong performance would certainly help his cause. (and that of Kent Hughes)
