Jeff Petry's young son was hospitalised and spent the last three nights in hospital
As you know, Montreal Canadiens defenceman Jeff Petry is going through a difficult time (in terms of his personal life) as his wife and children recently moved to the United States, more specifically to Michigan.
Last Wednesday in Columbus, Petry was able to see his family for the first time in almost three months.
We knew that number 26 was going through a tough time, but we had no idea how tough.
As Maxime Truman (DansLesCoulisses.com) reports, one of Petry's young boys has spent the last three nights in hospital.
It should be remembered that when Jeff's wife, Julie Petry, explained her reasons for leaving Quebec, she made it clear that she did not trust the health care system here.
Sadly, this week the Petry family needed health care and suffered a medical emergency.
Please note that we're talking about this here because it was all revealed publicly by the Petry family.
Julie actually told her followers on Instagram that she has spent the last three nights in the hospital because her son, Boyd Petry, has been suffering from severe viral pneumonia, in addition to an asthma attack.
Fortunately, Jeff and Julie's young son has just been released from the hospital and is out of danger.
