A few Montreal Canadiens players warmed up before facing Phillip Danault and the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday night, and then Jonathan Drouin and Christian Dvorak were spotted undergoing treatments Monday morning.

Eleven players were in this optional practice, so for now, it is impossible to know what combinations Dominique Ducharme will present to face the Kings with heavy legs.

Among those present were Michael Pezzetta, Brett Kulak, Alexander Romanov, Sami Niku, Jake Evans, Alex Belzile, Adam Brooks, Samuel Montembeault, Jake Allen, Jonathan Drouin and Christian Dvorak.

We're talking about support players and "extra" forwards, except for the last two.

That being said, Drouin won't be participating in tonight's matchup, while pre-game decisions will be made for Christian Dvorak and Josh Anderson. It's starting to look like a lot of scratches, isn't it?

In front of the net, Jake Allen will be the official goaltender, as he needs to build some confidence back after having some trouble in front of the Montreal cage.

As for Carey Price, he met with his teammates, which did everyone a world of good, including Dominique Ducharme.

He was also active during his break, which is positive and shows that he kept a good state of mind under the circumstances.

In closing, it will be a four-step process for Carey Price, which proves that his comeback is still very much in the rearview mirror.
