Last-minute announcement from the Canadiens regarding Denis Gurianov
In the past few minutes, the Montreal Canadiens organization made an announcement about their new acquisition, Denis Gurianov. Many of you were asking the question, and here is the answer as stated in the official statement by the Habs on Twitter:
"Gurianov will wear number 25."
For those of you who were interested in ordering jerseys of the new member of the Tricolore, Gurianov, we now know what number he will wear. We are excited to see him play in his new uniform, especially in Martin St-Louis' system, where he may be able to flourish.
To review the complete trade involving Evgenii Dadonov:
Gurianov is 25 years old and a former first-round pick, 12th overall in 2015. Following the Stars' journey to the 2020 Stanley Cup Finals, he seemed to be on his way to becoming a star player. He was exceptional, scoring 9 goals and 17 points in 27 games.
