In the last few moments, Jeff Gorton, of the Montreal Canadiens, was at a press conference, and he was questioned about the Logan Mailloux case and his current ban from playing in the NHL.

Jeff Gorton says Logan Mailloux should get the green light to play if he makes it to the NHL. He will still need to be officially cleared by Gary Bettman if he succeeds. Gorton says it should essentially be a formality based on a prior meeting with the league.
