As the Montreal Canadiens' players just hit the ice for today's early morning practice, there is a major development.
Mike Matheson is practicing with his teammates, wearing a blue non-contact jersey, and it proves that he's going to be back in the game much sooner than expected. He could be back in the game any day now.
Movement ahead
This turn of events for Matheson will have the effect of precipitating the "move" that Kent Hughes will have to make, to create a roster spot.
A player will have to be traded, placed on waivers or sent back to Laval, and on top of that, a defenseman will have to give up his spot in the Habs' starting lineup.
More details to follow!
