We talked about it a bit yesterday, but the Laval Rocket already held its official end of season scrum, and we learned some important news.
Namely this:
"Both Harvey-Pinard and Ylönen had good opportunities in Montreal, and I think they took advantage of their chance," said head coach JF Houle.
"If I read between the lines, he doesn't think he'll see them in Laval next year," reported Vincent Demuy.
Therefore, these are two players who would leave the Rocket next year to join the main club. They would have officially completed their learning experience in Laval.
In the case of RHP, it was expected, but in the case of Jesse Ylönen, it's more surprising to see the organization be so confident in seeing him in Montreal next year, considering all the players who will be back and healthy.
A file to closely monitor next September, but these are two players who would be on the verge of being added to the Canadiens' lineup, even with a 100% healthy lineup to start the season.
