In the last few minutes, Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis was present at a press conference and answered many questions from reporters, especially regarding the major news on Cole Caufield.
He made a statement that says it all.
I talked to the guys and I said that the most important thing that Cole brings is not his goals, it's his enthusiasm. And that collectively is what we need to replace him with."
Wow. There you go.

That really says a lot about the young Caufield, and there's no doubt the team and fans will miss him tremendously in games.
So Caufield, 22, ends his 2022-23 season with a 26-goal, 36-point performance in 46 games. That's a pace of 47 goals and 65 points per full season.
"This is some of the worst news this Habs season could produce. Cole Caufield missing the rest of the season because of shoulder surgery is pretty appalling."
- Marc Antoine Godin, The Athletic
