In the last few seconds, after announcing that Cole Caufield's season is over, the CH made an emergency personnel move:
"The Canadiens have recalled forward Alex Belzile from the Laval Rocket."
- Montreal Canadiens So it's Belzile who lands as a backup, not Anthony Richard.
Belzile, 31, has a solid 25 points (13 goals) in 29 games this season with the Laval Rocket of the American Hockey League.
He has one point with the CH in 2021.
