Monster statement: Connor Bedard lottery winning team already known because of Gary Bettman?
Before we get to the heart of the matter, we would like to mention and emphasize that we personally do not believe that the National Hockey League lottery is rigged in advance.
We are simply reporting a major statement heard on an extremely popular podcast. (Spittin' Chiclets)
In a video posted a few minutes ago, see what is being said:
"Connor Bedard can start looking for apartments in Scottsdale (in Arizona) at this point."

Basically, the guys are saying first that Bedard will be a generational talent, along with the Sidney Crosby, Alex Ovechkin and Connor McDavid of this world.
"He shoots the puck like Matthews, he sees the game like Crosby and he's so dynamic. [...] It's going to be a lottery that will change the course of an NHL franchise's history."
And then it gets really interesting:
"After what happened with the Chicago Blackhawks (with all the controversies), they won't get the first overall pick. Forget it. And I believe that when the vote is official, and when Tempe (in Arizona) decides to build an arena (for the Coyotes), knowing that Arizona is Gary Bettman's baby, Connor Bedard will be a Coyotes player next season.
They never won the lottery, they never drafted first overall, they will have a new arena... Connor Bedard is going to Arizona and it's going to be incredible for this city and for this franchise. He's going to Arizona"

And Biznasty then adds (probably in jest, but still):
"I know Bedard is going to Arizona. I spoke to Gary Bettman about it yesterday."
Again, let's remember to take all of this with a grain of salt, but these are still major statements, coming from extremely well-known people.
