According to what informant Frank Seravalli reports, the suspension of all National Hockey League activities would be more than ever considered. Commissioner Gary Bettman and his associates are actually expected to make a decision on the matter by Tuesday.
The situation is, after all, critical within the NHL. Due to the flurry of cases, no less than 39 games have been postponed in the last seven days, and only seven games remain on the schedule between now and Christmas.
No decision has been made yet, but logic suggests that a complete shutdown would be the best solution to take the time to evaluate the situation.
