This past season, the Toronto Maple Leafs finally got over their first-round hump after defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning in six games. While Leafs fans were excited to finally move on, they were quickly bounced in the 2nd round falling to the Panthers in five games.
While it does not seem like too much on the surface, it helps show how bad the locker room chemistry is. Keefe has been with the Leafs for years by this point and this is only the first time they were eating dinner as a group.
Most teams who go far in the playoffs typically do things as a unit. With there being a massive division in the Leafs' locker room, it appears they may never win a cup with this core or they may need to trade some of their most pivotal players.
