P.K. Subban just published a special photo of Carey Price and it quickly ignites the web
A picture of the Montreal Canadiens' goalie has been making waves in the hockey world and has brought back fond memories for fans of the storied franchise today.
Indeed, one could see Price pretending to hang onto the back of a massive photo of P.K. Subban.
"All those years when my friend carried me and many Montreal Canadiens players on his shoulders... It's only right that I return the favor," Subban jokingly commented.
During the tribute night for the former #76, the chemistry between the two men was evident on both sides.
"Little is known about the snapshot that the former defenseman posted on Twitter Thursday, but it appears to have been taken at the Montreal Children's Hospital, an institution forever linked to Subban's name due to his generous contributions. Wearing a mask, Price pretends to cling to the arm of a life-sized image of the 33-year-old man like a child." - Via TVA Sports
After all, they played together for six years, which is no small feat.
Looking at this snapshot of Price, I felt a twinge of nostalgia, a kind of sporting "spleen." Subban shooting point-blank and Carey stopping every puck like a metronome.
