We're still trying to digest yesterday's big news, when Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes announced that goalie Carey Price will be placed on the long-term injury list, and now there may be hope.
CH Vice President of Communications Chantal Machabée was interviewed on BPM Sports .
Like her GM, she effectively confirmed that Price will probably not play in 2022-2023. However, contrary to what many think (as already confirmed), according to Chantal Machabée, we are far from retirement yet in the case of Carey Price.
Well, the goal here is not to give you false hopes, but know that this is the opinion of the excellent Chantal.
Machabée added that Carey Price will be present for the beginning of the Habs training camp in September, which is also positive.
It's reassuring to see that Carey wants to stay close, and in the team's entourage.
